and the urge to hold a brand new own dgcam is pretty annoying.
so i dragged atuk to lowyat after work last Monday to window-'searching'.
the moment i set foot in FOTOKEM, Low Yat, i wasnt being treated or should i say recognise at all. the staff ignored me, takpe, i stayed and then agak lame baru ade org layan. ok fine, diorg ade 'ramai' customer. as if!. (or issit just 2-3 people around je?)
and when i asked if they have the stock for the model i want, they went to take it lah.
while waiting for that camera, i asked about other camera, and that is the moment when i suddenly fell in love straightaway with this CANON Powershot S90, which is 3 times the price of FS62 camera and ofkos really very out of my budget.
being compared to the little LUMIX FS62, of course lah S90 sparks in its own magnificent way lah kan. (i also fell in loveeeee with LX3, but being a lil bit bigger in size and muncung zoom agak terkeluar drpd paksi doesnt help in my mission of finding a small+senang dibawe kemanemane camera, plus, i can always use atuk's nikon D80 DSLR for creative purposes)..
so, yadayadayada, i decided to buy that CANON powershot S90 instead of LX3 and also instead of LUMIX FS62 (the initial focus and objective i come to lowyat).
of course i didnot do any reading/research about that camera at allll. i was being really ecstatic with it, with the interface, with the picture i took during preview, and knwoing that eja&peachy use the same camera and got really pretty pictures shown in their facebook did help me judge a lil bit.
so, being happy and all, i went home tersenyum puashati walopon poket agak membengkak dgn bayaran hutang tersebut.. i chose to ignore my inner roaring of '3months hidup papa kedana later on.'
balik rumah, apelagi, amek2 gamba, try try..AND then i realised that the cover is a lil bit loose, near the flash area. OHMYGODDDDDDDDDDD!!!!
oh ok, maybe its not that bad, maybe because of the moving flash box that made the cover loose abit..i went to google about it. little did i know, people around the world are having the same problem, and most, i mean MOST of them had to return back the product and get an exchange of a solid ones. the cover should be solid. not loose like that.
HURUHARA? of kos i was being huruhara and asked around. eja&peachy mempunyai S90 yg solid, not me. :(( sedih :((
so yesterday, i went back to this lousy FOTOKEM shop at LowYat.
guess what? ofcourseeeeeee i cannot return the product!!! or even exchange. the people (almost all of the staff was attending me this time) were all standing very bold saying that all the canon S90 camera is like that. one of them even challenge me to go to the canon dealer shop to find a solid one.. watdefak??
i guess i was being all drama-queen for a good one hour in that shop yesterday. huhu. but in the end, i still cannot exchange it. the staff said, "u should have check properly yesterday when u bought it. once u had pay for it, u cannot return it."
mcm babi lah lu.
boy i wish i bought it at UK or US where we can return even baju tidur yg telah dibeli dan dipakai 3hari! (ok, i m not sekejam itula kan, but i can easily lah return barang yg mcm menyesal dibeli when i was in london dulu).
so today, i decided to just sit and behold. T_T.

haha fotokem mmg cibai. especially kat low yat. macam poyo. tapi takpe, ko gi direct ke canon hq kat subang square apa tah nama tempat tuh, tak ingat. deorang akan tulong.
patutnya fotokem la yang buatkan untuk ko, tapi sbb deorang cibai kan.. pastu malas nak handle nih, so deorang expect ko yg gi ke canon sndrik. fotokem mmg cibai. meh aku tulis lagi skali.. fotokem cibai. hopefully bila orang google cibai... kuar nama fotokem. sbb deorang mmg cibai. takpun bila google fotokem, kuar cibai.
in fact ko patut namakan tajuk blog post koh nih jadik "fotokem cibai, tapi takpe, aku ada boifren baru...". cis tak puas ati betul aku. sampai kene post comment tiga kali. still tak puas ati lagi nih.
silap... kalau ikut format blog ko nieh, kene jadik "++the one with fotokem cibai, but ok since have new boifren"

and, canon service centre is at subang saujana. maybe aku nak gi kejap lagi, hopefully dpt penyelesaian terbhaek~
uhhh patut la gambo camera eja lawa.. i was thinking which camera she use.. hahahhaha .. tapi aku setuju.. ko gi tukar kat canon center.. easier
eh aku mcm baca ni agak telmbt dah... so ape cite ngan canon s90 ko? moral of the story.. jgn beli brg yg kite tak plan nk bel dgn drastik.. pk dlu. :)
