And this entry, it is about day 04 - at Veliky Novgorod, Russia

as mentioned in previous entry, we slept in the train from moscow to veliky, and today, we arrived at 630am at veliky novgorod station.
since our hotel is 2km walk from the station, we decided to dump our luggages in the cloakroom at this train station, and only bring a 1 night change only for tonight accommodation in veliky.
the luggagae charges for 2 lockers for 24hours is 420rubles. we shared only 2 big lockers, luckily enough.
and while waiting for the airbnb owner to arrived (he can only be as early as 1030am), we walked really slowly towards our apartment, and the path and few parks towards the apartment helps. took lot of pictures to prolong the time.
and the apartment is super nice! with nice and clean kitchen (but the shower was a seethrough from outside, semoga takde sesape skodeng haha)
after resting and eating our prepacked lunch (from the jerrywings), we went out to tour the veliky kremlin area.
the kremlin or detinets, as it was called in ancient times, is the heart of the city.
for centuries, it was the religious, political and cultural center of novgoros lands.
nowadays, it is a significant historic site with the most important stone fortresses in the northwest of russia.
some of the famous novgorod state museums inside this kremlin area are st.sophia cathederal, bell-tower of st sophia cathederal, cathederal of holy wisdom, spasskaya tower, st andrew stratelates church, metropolitan tower, monument to the thousand years of russia, vevodsky court, church of st paraskevi, st nicholas cathederal and many more beautiful buildings.
unfortunately we dont have enough time (and energy for me), magrib was around 530pm and by the that time it will begin to darkened.

later that day, we went groceries shopping at the nearby supermarket and cook dinner that night. (boy, it was the most delicious meal we've ever eaten ahahahhaha)
