so now, actually, total is at around RM6878.

Hi hi readers yg dikenali dan tak dikenali,
we went to Russia and the Baltic continents (Estonia & Latvia je) lastlastweek.
and this entry is literally about the costing only.

1stly the journey & Flight ticket,
ofcourse the first thing we bought was the flight ticket.
The first ever plan was to actually do the ever trending transiberian-trip (train from beijing to russia belah kanan(Vladivostok) or via mongolia to ulaan batar and crossing (and stop at few) 6-7 russian continents up to russia belah kiri (st petersburg)) tuh... MMTK had researched and came at around 4iteneries planning the trip, but we finally decided to only goes directly to moscow ahahahhahahahahha..
the thought of being on train for 2days, another 1 day on ground, and repeat, for the whole 2weeks journey from beijing to st petersburg, scared (and literally stressed) the shit outta us.
and baltic came later, just because moscow & st petersburg are so near, and we have enough days to cover them, but i dunno why we didnt include lithuania. maybe because of the days that we have.
so it is between, hnm, pilihan yg terpaksa dilakukan, kot.
but it is ok, we can combine lithuania with any of our east europe journey in future (itu pon kalo hado)(kalo nonhado, kite tgk gamba2 org je la).
ok, back to the topic, so, KL to moscow directly, it is, but the plane ticket was such a nightmare too.
add it to the dates constraint and the annual leaves constraints. so we then decided to just buy return plane ticket to and from istanbul instead of moscow. (and the fact that we will be going back not from russia, but latvia, was also the reason).
so the journey was:
KUL -> ISTANBUL -> MOSCOW, RUSSIA -> VELIKY, RUSSIA -> ST PETERSBURG, RUSSIA -> TALLINN, ESTONIA -> RIGA, LATVIA -> ISTANBUL -> KL
*(Asyiko ulangkaji (AUK) journey is to/from scotland)

2ndly, is about the visa. 
Everyone should know by now that we have to get a visa to enter Russia (unlike europe/UK).
so, 2-3 months before the date, MMTK (as usual, the ketua travel) already researched and asked all of us to buy and apply for the invitation letter (to get the visa). the price was at 15pounds perperson.

and ianya tidak habis disitu ya tuan tuan puan puan.
once we got the invitation letter via email, we then needed to register online here:https://visa.kdmid.ru/PetitionChoice.aspx
and get the registration online printed out, attached together a passport sized photo and then barulah we can go lined up at the russian embassy at jln ampang, that small office for visa application processes at the russian embassy.
AND PLS dont be like us, we only read the business hours online at their website, but actually, they already put a clear sign in their front office that the business hours are only on Monday/wednesday/Friday and from 930am till 1pm only. so, plan your journey wisely guys. gittew.

and, during the process of getting the visa at the embassy, 1stly, we need to queue to submit the passport & visa registration form, and get a slip from the officer.

then, go to the nearest bank to transfer the visa fee (of rm396 perperson) and go back to the embassy and show the slip/reciept to the officer, then he/she will give the reciept for the passport collection & the date for collection (normally in 1-2weeks time).

*we can also transfer online, and print the slip, but if u want to go back to office/home to print will take another time, so better go to the nearest bank and do manually at the counter so we can get the reciept on the same hour and go back to submit at the embassy at the same day.

the nearest bank is Maybank at bangunan perkeso, around 200mtr walk from the embassy.

3rdly is bout the insurance:
i was being reminded, constantly, not to burden the family members whenever you're leaving the birth country, and so, must i follow. who knows whatever accidental issues we might encounter during the trip kan, simpang malaikat 44...
the easiest for us ofcourse something we can just grab online and needs no seeing/meeting agent watsoeva. etiqa/maybank offered a comprehensive travel insurance, and all of us took it. mine was the platinum one, actual price for 11-18days at rm137 but i got discount.

4thly, is about the accommodations, 
to which mostly MMTK booked earlier from KL (except at Veliky, our hotel was being cancelled last minute and she has to re-book another one, yg quite far from the train sation).

below are the list of our accommodations price perperson:

-we only bought simkad at russia (310rubbles for 15days and 6gb data) and just depended on the wifi at the baltic continents.

-eating were mostly on subway tuna (sampai dah rase nak muntah dah makan subway tuna tuh), bread, sometimes we ate at the fancy2 restaurant, i think we went coffee (hot chocs for me) everyday at some fancy, some nonfancy cafes, some at the vending machine only, we also bring some instant noodles and vico and biscuits, and we cook 2 times (1 time in veliky and 1 time in tallinn). okla tuh, idokla mcm villagepeople sesgt pon kan. hehehe.

wow, punyala aku bejimat cermat nak beli henfon ni yg maybe murah gila kot utk org lain, tp tidakkk bagi aku. aku hidop atas duit scholar petr0nas tu je... so aku mmg xde kemewahan hakiki.

tp nasebaik jugak lelaki naga tadi telah memberi kata2 semangat utk meneruskan nya. dan meneman aku kesane kemari menyetelkan visa passport semua tuh.

walopon begitu, lelaki naga takdapat membantu dari segi uwang, dia miskin gila mase tu (skrg dah kaya, dia lupakan aku, chibai punye botak!)

makanya, aku tataula cemane, si cana (nama irc x-americana tu sbb dipanggil cana, nama sebenanya f4hmi) (yg kaya mase tu sbb dah keje kat c3lcom rasenye) dtg membawa sinar. seriously like a knight in shining armor. ;))
dia la yg kasi aku pinjam phone dia ni. nokia juga, tp tataula ape jenisnya, tp yg mcm didlm gamba dibawah.

sadly, not from somewhere only we know, but, yaknow, from the long hiatus yg x berapa nak long pon.

apart from gluing myself watching anime "one piece" at the mo (still longggg way to go), i am also trying my best to finish all the leftovers of the tvseries that i've abandoned when i was nomading at SL since my car breakdown.
and apart from that "zaman berzaman tak abis abis tvseries yg walopon xde paedah utk ditonton tp tetap aku dlod dan layan jugak" tuh
(contoh tvseries lame yg still ditengok: greys anatomy, awkward, drop dead diva, californication, girls, chasing life, married, etc etc)

i am also currently hooked to the latest addition to the world of the tv-addict: that are: arrow, the flash, daredevil, gotham & mr robot.

and watching michael scofield and his bro back into the flash lately, and then the flash appeared in the arrow, and arrow appeared in the flash, etc etc, i was thinking, hnmm, why not they make a film combining all of the tvseries.
and i didnt meant the avengers kind.
or maybe, yes, that kind but plus everyone else.

like maybe, there's this family (the members are from modern family),
and when they go to the hospital, it is the crew from grey's anatomy,
and when they have legal issues, the lawyers are from suits & drop dead diva,
and then they need to investigate something, there comes the people from CSI ke,
and anak dia si alex berkawan with the girls from awkward,
and then there is a journalist from chasing life covering up the news on the investigations.
and the son have to go to jail and then became friend with yada yada yada...

and it is not the scary movie type. it is a serious drama like.

i've been in an accident.
kochiku is still in coma state in the nearest possible bengkel to my home.
and i have to currently stay over at ABC's
with the brothers and sisters. and nieces.
and it's been a very tiring rides, everyday.
couldnt imagine myself being this disabled, yaknow, without the car.
the thought of buying a motorcycle has really top off of my emotional budgetary chart nowadays.
with my ever hoarding skills aside, the suggestion to go nomad to another house is also an issue.
you dont want to know.
it is really a frustrating one, my logistic problem.

last saturday, when visiting an aunt at the state south, that aunt asked me about what's the latest price for 'hantaran' back at my hometown.
i said i dunno. i dont even wanna know actually, because u see, i've accepted the fact that i'll never get married fosho.
and she, she didnt know that, so she asked again.
i said i dunno. i think it's the same like everyone else in KL.
she said, it's for me.
i said what???
i choked of course. the ketupat in me.
for who? your husband ke (soalan ku hanya didlm hati), but i went silent for a while.
i didnot ask anything. i went outside and eat alot of durians (kekonon mcm nak memabokkan diri kan).

she didnt say anything after that.

and my mind went on a trip the whole journey back.

with what had happened to my bestfriend's marriage, it is hard to tell.
trust is so over-rated.
sometimes u can trust someone with all your money, and someone who can be reliable to when u are in a deep debt, or trouble with accident, is not the same one u can trust with handling monogamy.
and sometimes, u can trust someone that will never break your heart, but u cannot trust him to take care of your belongings.
there will never be a perfect 'trustworthy' person.
and with another bestfriend of mine, handling 2 too many, wives of her now scandal, i said, wow, i rest my case.
i'm no more anti-polygamy for sure, but can i handle the deep rejection of being together when he is on duty with the 1st or 2nd or 3rd?
shit man.
this is such a whole new world i'm getting into.

no doubt the current MH370 tragedy affected mostly our emotions & doubts towards our government.
or least i am.
eventho the PR of our representatives during every PC were lacking, but as a malaysian, i supported them.
whatever it is, i stand united with them, and with the SAR team, and with all the other malaysians who had been directly or indirectly involved in handling this very hard situation.
for what we have contributed and what we have done so far, no matter how small.

but recently when i read our own people condemning about how our own satellite, the RAZAKSAT, wasnt helping in the whole rescuing agendas, i had to make a stand.
ah gitu.
satellite2 nih mengundang minat saya.

i had to refer to huda for this info, a former atsb-ians (the operator for the said satellite, something like inmarsat).
Razaksat is a small Low Earth Observation (LEO) satellite, orbitting the earth at NEQO (near equatorial orbit) only, the kind that is parallel to malaysia on the khatulistiwa circle. (like brazil)
the reason for a low earth position is due to our cloudy sky, much optical satellite imagery of Malaysia have more than 50% cloud cover within the image's footprint.
and, due to orbitting at the neqo only, no, it cant cover the search area for MH370, which is below perth.

the satellite was launched in 2009 for rnd purposes and every low earth observation satellite has only around 3-4years of a mission lifetime.
basically, yes, razaksat has exceed her lifetime limit.
so, why are u asking where's that famous razaksat?

altho economically developed, malaysia is not that big of a country to actually buy new satellite every other years, the people will bising (like me too) for these unnecessary equipment but then when you are on the project team of letsay the recent SAR team, u'll know that we actually need these kind of 'unnecessary' objects.

"I often wonder though, in this day and age, why they don't find a way to upload the contents of the "Black Box" to a server on the Internet like "Drop Box" for example, in real time, continuously, while the plane is in the air.  Then when the plane lands safely, the data could be erased to save storage space.

It doesn't appear to me to be too difficult and it would be a good project for an engineer.  Then, when an accident like this does happen, they would have the Black Box data immediately.

maksodnye, at the same frequency, user are using different timeslot.
1carrier ade 8 timeslot, so, at the same freq tu, user beratur utk guna 8slot tuh.
if u r now connected to GPRS (lambang bulat kalo kat iphone), kalo xde org guna voicecall, dan kalo ko dpt masuk dlm antara 8 timeslot tu, bertuah lah kau.

3G -384kbps - 14.4Mbps - 42Mbps (the latest product by the company using 2x2 MIMO)
UMTS, HSDPA, HSPA (3G lah)
at this point of tech, kite sudah guna CDMA (code div mul xs)
so, at the same time & frequency, we were differentiate by code. (eg: scrambling code dll)

4G - 173Mbps - 326Mps (theoretically)(best case scenario)
LTE
this tech is currently using OFDMA (orthogonal FDMA)
this is the time when we finally apply our 'favourite' fast fourier transform (FFT) to make sure each user are using frequencies that are orthogonal to each other. haa kau, rupa2 nye ade faedah nye fast fourier tranform yg kite belaja during maths dulu tuh.

FYI lagi sekali, before videl-kuchiki, i had videlcute.blogspot & videlkuchiki.blogspot
so, now i wanted to merge all these 3 blogs into 1. this one.
so, i can combine all my travelling/vacation entries into 1 label and it will be very easy for references. [ce? ces? ntahlaa.. tula sape suh tak membaca...]
but, i have to do labelling first, to all entries.. jenoh kauuuuuu!

i bought a digital travel weightscale (for luggage) recently, from dealmates,
actually not recently lah, bought it on March and estimated delievry date on 16th april, tp sampai laswik mendalah ni x sampai2 lagi, aku dah angin gila dah hanta emel beribu2 lemon kat dealmates.
and the item finally arrived on tuesday morning.
sekali, tengok2, the item is incomplete. (see picture). the battery cover is missing.
ape aku x angin???? dahla lembabbbb, sekali x boleh guna lakkkk..

but i need the scale fast, my trip will be on nextweek, and there's no room for replacement watsoever.
so, kitorg tlh menggunakan ilmu fizik yg telah dipelajari semasa kelas cikgu latip superman..
letak besi(syiling in this case) to connect both - + poles at the end og both AAAbatteries tuh, (so current can flow lah),

pastu selotape them together and tada... dah boleh pakai dah...

gembire ni weh, tryla scale handbag lah, losyen lah..
siap pergi riak kat kawan2 lain tentang penemuan fizik kami ni...

tiba2, bila dah duduk balik, rase mcm terpijak samting, laaaaaaaaa rupanya penutupnya telah terjatuh...

this is new
went to a karaoke place last weekend, the name is loudspeaker.
basically, we planned to go to our normal karaoke place, kbox at ss2.
but the place is closed.
so we went to this loudspeaker at kota d4mansara.
the choices is not as many as kbox or redbox or neway, but it sure got more new songs compared to them. and many chinese song.

one of the jakonest moment is the way we can choose the song to sing.
remote control is a way, but there is also this small screen beside the sitting place where we can touchscreen it, even slide mcm gune iphone/tablets.
pehhhhhhhh.

++the one with archie part2

so i have very tight budget this month, and month after
and after after, and so on..
and i went to digital mall to fix archie (instead of replacing him)
and tadaa, here i am blogging on him. hahaha, hehehe..
had to buy a new adaptor (eh adaptor doesnt worth few penny only these days,
especially for the old model like archie tau) but alis, better than buying a new laptop.
hehe again. relief.
