sedihnyeeee.
people are describing malaysia like some sort of a remote village or something like that in my favourite tv series: brothers & sisters. go watch go watch the 1st few series of 2nd season of the series.
one of the brothers and sisters, adik kpd kitty [kitty=calista flockhart=ally mcbeal] tuh, name:kevin, is a gay, and currently berpacaran with this jason guy [kitty's hasben's brother] gay tapi seorg alim. he's an ordained minister. so, during the starting of this 2nd season, this jason had to leave for malaysia, and as what they described in the story, he went down to malaysia to serve as 'missionary' for the impoverished people. i mean, kenape malaysia??? labelled as impoverish people??? busuk giler ok!
but kevin did pronounced malaysia really well, unlike some other american/english.
eh, haa, another fact about kevin [matthew rhys]. he is not american, he is an english, a welsh to be exact [welsh accent adelah sgt british yg sgt ber accent, u know, mcm kalo accent malaysia tuh, dia ketegeri slang kelate].. but in this series, he did really speak american very very well, almost unnotice.
and one more thing about brothers and sisters, adalah sgt geli geleman while watching all the gay scenes, especially part2 kevin ciom kekasih2nye, yucks, takut ok jikelau atuk tetibe betuka orientation, he profusely confess of thinking 'pink' is his fav color lately. tolonglah!
well anyways, into kevin's.. i found this interview with him on another channel and would like to paste
[taken from interview with brothers & sisters matthew rhys]
AE: As an actor, you have to deal with being in the public eye and people wanting to know about your personal life, and Kevin's relationship with a closeted soap opera actor ties directly into that issue of celebrity privacy. How do you as an actor deal with that? And does it seem to you that it's almost easier for a straight actor to play a gay part these days than it is for an actor who is not, say, closeted in his private life but also not publicly out? It makes it kind of difficult for them to play gay roles for fear of unwanted speculation about their sexuality.
MR: Yeah. I was a little shocked at the reaction of the press at the beginning. A lot of the questions were, you know, “Was it a problem for you to play gay roles?” Or “Were you concerned about getting typecast?” You know, I was a little confused as to why I was getting...
AE: Why you were getting questioned on that front?
MR: Well, yeah! [Laughs.] I thought we'd passed those times, really. So that was a little bit of a shock.
AE: Speaking of that, I caught an interview recently with Jason Lewis, and he mentioned that the prospect of kissing another man on-screen was kind of scary. Was that ever an issue for you?
MR: No. I don't think it's ever really problematic. I just think if you're fortunate enough to be confident and secure in yourself, and you know it's a role you play, I don't see where the problem lies, really. Actually, my first theater job was a gay part with a lot of kissing it in it. So, I wouldn't say it was a hurdle really, but I got over that really early on. You realize there's nothing to it.
ade sgt byk lg yg menarik, go read yourself lah kan. especially about how they shoot 4/5 times for one funny shot where all of it went on different ending, and then sedih sbb yg dpt masuk tv is only 1 shot je, while the other 3/4 shot tuh pon bes bes gak. u get what i mean?
above all those comments by me, i still love watching the episodes, and cannot wait for the continues, episode 10 2nd season. :-w
