++The one with a new resolution

As per subjected, i now have a new resolution.

It is to be all ears when a person is complaining, or ranting, no matter how boring the topic is, no matter how insignificant and no matter how many circles it has rounded before.

A person can mean my person, or my half person, or just a simple close person. Not necessarily someone who slept with me or a very very close buddy.
Anyone can be the person, but ofcourse, not anyone i hate or i pissed off with.

I know i wanted someone to listen to me when im in that situation.
A situation when u wanted to scream takpuashati! Or ranting about something or anything.

Ignorance is such a sad thing.

But hey, sometimes, writing helps. Like this one.

++North New Zealand | the motorhome experience

I dedicated an entry just to storytell about the motorhome alone, just because.

Mostly i quote from WR's fb picture:
1. We survived 2800km in it.

2. And we survived bawak benda gedabak ni thru jalan yang 70% macam lalu bukit putus (sometimes worse - imagine drive jalan macam tu masa malam yang gelap gelita)

3. masak tiap2 malam dalam tu(tak nak dah makan sardin setahun)(yelaaa tu)

4. tido atas katil keras (nasib baik dapat katil 'first class'- ini WR), (me & Mon dpt katil coach class yg di kasta paling rendah je huhuhu),

5. pegi pak n save hari2 borong chocolate (bag berat gila!)(sampai terpaksa tambah luggage allowance at the very last minute)

6. kena drive dengan minyak tinggal 2 bar and next petrol station is 150km away. lampu minyak dah bekelip2 sejak awal perjalanan lagi dah. cuak gilaaaa.

7. Dan kecederaan yg dialami this vehicle cuma calar sikit kat bawah. "Dont worry about it 💅"(kata si rental service disana)

8. WR terlanggar batu and tiang! MMTK terlanggar kete org (yg ni mmg panik gilaaaaa kitorg)

9. ada satu malam yg seram, tido dlm motorhome yg bergoyang2 sbb angin kuat nak mampos. Rase mcm dah nak terbalik dah rumah kite tu. Tak boleh tido ok malam tu. Takut motorhome terbalik punya pasal. and Bila bangun pagi, tgk keadaan sekeliling rilek aje. Xdepon pokok tumbang ke, kertas berterbangan ke.. Cuma selipar Mon je hilang sebelah. Rupanya dah terbang ke seberang sana 😂

10. CP tido and kena hempap meja mase WR kona lipat.

11. CP tido sampai jatuh ke bawah. Hahahahaha Jatuh kebawah dan katil businessclass(katil MMTK) menghempap. Juga semasa WR yg jadi driver. dasar bawak lori mcm bwk kete sport!

12. IR tido sampai kepala dah ke bawah kerusi tapi tak jatuh2 hahaha. WR siap tahan dgn kaki nya. Sebab takut IR berguling masa ambik lap. Hahahahaha. Ni kalo WR yg bawak time ni, konfom menggelongsor mcm aku ni..

13. Nak gi holidaypark for overnite tapi terpergi retirement home. Hilda Rose retirement home namanya :(. Petandakah itew?

14. One of the many zigzag roads yg gelap gelita takde lampu, most ly menaik dan menurun cerun bukit yg serammmmmmm dan menggigil kaki aku tekan brek.. and Ada satu lagi tuu..yg U masa turun bukit tu. Ada sign suruh bawak 25km/h je. Seremmmmmmm. Actually kalo siang pon seram sbb nampak gaung or laut tepi lereng jalan...

huhu...

15. parking times were the most crucial times. especially when it was at a limited space like in town or sometimes bila ade byk sgt other irrelevent things like pokok or batu.
this fella is not like cars, kereta rendah weh, we do not budget bumbung kereta akan digilis dahan pokok, unlike the motorhome, we have to make sure dahan pokok tu x kene bumbung kita.
and kene byk amek side, byk kali gak diorg salah bajet dan terlibas benda (batu, tiang, pokok, kereta org:( ) dgn ekor motorhome. the height was 3.5m, length dia 7.5m. susah!
kekdg, each of us had to stand at every corner of the parking lot to assist the driver of the day. T___T
and most of times, camera yg utk reverse sensor tu x digunakan pon, but instead, kami letak sorg duduk kat katil belakang and became the reverse sensor ahahahahha. manual reverse sensor namanya.

before pergi aku dah tanye ofismet aku dah, "how was it like driving the motorhome? is it easy?"
and he replied "senang je. mcm bawak bas"
PERNAH PULAK AKU BAWAK BAS kan????
ahahahhahaahhaha
but alhamdulillah la, no major accident, and the little2 scratch we did, didnt counts according to the rental service officer.

16. but i think (ni aku je rase kot), we did less walking as compared to other vacation we went to. and less penat rasenye. tayah nak hangkut bagasi kesane kemari kot. and makan mmg byk gila sbb every night masak mcm 2gelas beras kot. mcm makan lagi byk dari kat malaysia. huhuhu

17. ohya.lupa nak cerita. mase memula bwk mmg sgtsgtlah clumsynye. sume bende nak terbukak dan beguling2. fridge terbukak la, roti tejatuh la, botol jatuhla, dan x dilupakan, org terjatuh (yg ni mmg byk kalinya). tp, lelame kami dah pandai nak sendal dgn beg or penyapu (yg ni mmg x bekesan pon ahahahahah). actually, xdela pandai mane pon, sampai ke sudah, ade je adegan2 kabinet tebukak, fridge terbukak, pintu shower terbukak, org tegelongsor dan jatuh time kona baring. hehe. kite kuatkan semangat kusss semangat aje.

18. fridge tu mmg misteri. bile time nak masak je, dia punye ketat susah gile nk bukak. semua try pon x bole. tetibe satgi dia boleh. dia mcm main cak cak. pastu, sokmola tesekat sbb rak bwh sekali tu selalu terjatuh dari paksi dia. hanya tangan2 halus (semestinye bukan aku) yg bejaya bukakkan nya. pffft punye fridge.

19. aku bwk tali penyidai hokeh! ahahahhaha. tekejut diorg tgk aku kuarkan tali dari beg sarat aku yg pergi je dah 24kg (ade hati nak beli 25kg je utk balik???) ahahahahhahah.

++North New Zealand | COSTING

NEW ZEALAND is so far the most expensive country i've been to.
but the most beautiful and peaceful and safe one.
overall, i burnt around RM8k

we were among the lucky ones who were early enough to get AAX flight tix for KUL-AUCKLAND-KUL for MYR998 only. yeah baby! less than 1k baby! (wtf with baby?)

we've been eyeing the ticket prices since last year, since before AA announced they re gonna fly to auckland, new zealand.
all we got was around MYR3k, MAS offered 3200 the lowest, emirates too.
i was this close to buy a jetstar flight ticket because they offered less than 3k.
tapiiiii, tetibe AA announced their new destination, and boy were we excited.
we bought at 12midnite the day it launched. fuh!

but ofcourse, it was without all the food & luggages,
so, after adding up the insurance, food for each legs, luggages,
mine went to MYR1684 (still cheapest among all the planes)

and for the whole journey, we drove & slept (mostly) in the motorhome, and the rental (+insurance) price for that fella is RM1385 perperson for the whole 13nights (1st night we checked into a motel).
the total is 15days 14nights, motorhome rental is for 14days 13nights.
we have 4nights checked into hotel/motel/hostel, and another 10nights sleeping in the motorhome.
and, for those who doesnt know, u have to charge the motorhome at the holiday park every 2 nites (but we charged it every night), so we have around 10nights checking in at a holiday park for charging (and also for showers, sometimes doing laundry, toilets, wifi). and it is not free. it cost around NZD20 per head per night.

listed below are all of the places we slept at.
category hotel/motels are the normal sleeping in a hotel/motel bed.
category 'holiday park' was when we park at the campsite, charge the motorhome, and sleep/cook inside it.
we checked into a motel/hotel/hostel on the 1st night & at rotorua (because they marathoners need to have a good rest before and after their marathon), & on the last night at auckland (for packing up stuff).
The total is NZD1414 (NZD282.80 per person)

now let's move to the activities.

most activities, for me, is very expensive. but it is such a waste if we already there but didnt do the top must dos kan?

the top must do thing is to visit the hobbiton movie set (and also LOTR), yaknow, those hobbits home yg berpintu bulat tu. and it is priced at NZD79 perperson, but MMTK (ketua kumpulan as usual) booked it for a package together with the glowworm caves & also te puia maori village tour & halal buffet dinner for NZD294.

quite cheap because the glowworm caves alone is priced at nzd75 & te puia + dinner + maori is NZD153.

i've made a summary of all the damages done below.

The exchange rate were around NZD1=MYR2.80 the week we departed. (AB bought it at MM for 2.725 at first for me, and the next day he got it for 2.75 and then the next day i got for 2.77 rasenye, mmtk got it for 2.78 at summit, warrie got it for 2.74).

food & beverages are mostly for lunches & some coffee breaks.

we cook our dinner almost everyday. each one of us must bring 1 big can of sardines + 1 big can of another lauk (chicken curry or rendang or anything) from malaysia. dinners were rice with sardin / lauk lain with telur dadar with salad everyday :D. nak jimat punya pasal kan. nasebaik MMTK & me brought sambal chili delimas. sungguh sedap dimakan dgn nasi panas.

rice and egg can easily be bought at their pak & save or countdown (something like tesco/giant).

we bought groceries for breakfast too, mostly bread with nutella and butter and peanut butter and cheese or sometimes cereal with milk, up to everyone's likes.

in total, we bought around NZD262 (53perperson) worth of groceries. (mmg byk x abis especially the rice, we bought 10kg rice, tamakla katakan. mmg x abis ahahahhahahha)

i think i might forgot some not so crucial expenditure, but this is the closest, i think.

(ralat, the cost below doesnt include all the simcards, wifi allowance, topup credit that we bought, it was around NZD50 total)

++North New Zealand | mukadimah

well hello thereeeeeee
i'm back in malaysia!
we went to the northern island of new zealand for 2 weeks people! 15days, 14nights!
fuhhh kan.
but that's not crazy. we live in a motorhome (some say caravan) for almost the whole 2 weeks people!
and that's crazy! but superrrrfun!
i cant believe it!
(semua ayat ialah with an exclamation marks, why, thank you)

it was such an experience. the weather was biased actually, it was autumn, but we felt like winter (at nights mostly).
siangharis were good but we lost many time due to the autumn. morning started normal, at 7am, but sunset were as early as 530pm. tsk tsk.
tripadvisor advised people to go there during summer, but, i read somewhere (and heard from some officemates) that it will be a bit tough during parking, activities, driving, etc etc.

i ll share the whole things we did back there, but, for now, lemme smile and love myself (nyanyi lagu justin bieber) sebentar donk.
